Born in Serbia , in Novi Sad and surrounded by a musical family, it was normal that his parents encouraged him to attend a music school. His older brother chose guitar, Jaroslav piano. His appreciation for music started at an early age while listening to father\u2019s vinyl records as well as his brothers cassette tapes and CD\u2019s. From age 7 to 15 he learned basic music theory while doing numerous piano performances and competitions for which he won many prizes.<\/p>\n

After high school he realizes that he would like to explore music differently than with the piano and he leaves the school . Starting to experiment with sound design and computer music software, he quickly fell in love with electronic music and composing. Meanwhile he started to collaborate with the local independent theatre VHV Ba\u010dsky Petrovec and began to work as a sound technician and composer for many performances created by Serbian and Slovak directors.<\/p>\n

In 2007 he met Peter Serge Butko, Czech theatre, movie and documentary director. With him, Jaroslav did his first performance \u201cDoparoma 2008\u201d, as composer and actor . As a result Peter and Jaroslav collaborated on many projects that followed : \u201cOda na Rovinu 2011\u201d , \u201d\u010carodejnicske procesy 2012\u201d , \u201cNavam Poya 2012\u201d , \u201dSpirala Casu 2013\u201d , \u201dOda Movie 2013\u201d , cabaret \u201cOd zajtra nepijeme 2015\u201d , \u201cBirds In House 2016\u201d , “Nijinsky 2017” , “Oliver 2018” and Kafka “Proces 2019”.<\/p>\n

As he became recognized as a composer, he started to work on many projects worldwide such as documentaries, short films, commercials and shows. Furthermore, he works in parallel as a freelancer creating music for video games and apps.<\/p>\n
